Embroider loops stitch - Instructions for Millefleurstich

The Schlingenstich is also called Millefleurstich because it can represent the petals of a plant. It is based on the same principle as the loop stitch. The only difference is that the individual loops do not make a chain with several links, but stand alone.

1. Pierce the needle from the back to the front through the embroidery base
2. Leave about 3 cm of yarn for later sewing
3. Grasp the needle from the front
4. Pierce the needle again in the same opening from which the needle was picked up
5. Guide the needle to the back of the fabric and prick it forward at the point where the top of the sling should be placed

6. Place the yarn in a circle from left to right under the needle
7. Grasp the needle from the front
8. Pierce the needle at a small distance from the resulting loop in the embroidery base

9. Carefully pull the yarn taut. The looser you attach the yarn to the fabric, the larger the loop remains.
10. Repeat points 1 to 9 where you want to attach a sling. When drawing a flower, look for a circular shape.
