Pulswarmers and arm warmers are perfect for eliminating wool residues. For the wrist warmers here in the manual wool was used, which can be knitted with a knitting needle 3, 5 mm . Merino, alpaca, or mohair wool will keep you warm in winter, even if it's not very thick. Optimal is a run length of 120 - 150 m / 50 grams . Depending on the finished length of the gauntlets, we need 1 - 2 balls or a total of approx. 50 - 100 grams of wool remnants in different colors as well as 1 needle size 3.5.

Knitting instructions for wrist warmers

Stroke: 12 stitches on 4 needles = 48 stitches. Either apply the stitches on the individual needles or, following the impact on a single needle, fold them into 4 needles.

Close the work to the round. The first stop stitch becomes the first round stitch. Then knit the following sequence.

Pattern I

Round 1 - Round 8: 3 stitches on the right, 3 stitches left on the change

Round 9 - Round 16: 3 stitches on the left, 3 stitches on the right
Now knit this pattern for a total of 16 rounds.

Tip: If you wish, you can make a first color change after completing Pattern I, knit Pattern II with another wool, and bring even more life to the knitting.

Pattern II

1st round: * 1 right stitch, 1 turn, 4 right stitches, 2 stitches covered, 4 stitches, 1 turn * - repeat this pattern on each of the 4 needles of a round.

2nd round: right-hand stitches

Pull 2 ​​stitches off = take off 1 stitch, knit 2 stitches together on the right, pull the lifted stitch over the knitted stitch.

3rd round: * 2 right stitches, 1 turn-up, 3 right-hand stitches, 2 stitches covered, 3 right-hand stitches, 1 turn-up, 1 right-hand stitch * - repeat this sequence on each of the 4 needles in a round.

4th round: right stitches

5th round: * 3 right stitches, 1 turn-up, 2 right-hand stitches, 2 stitches covered, 2 right-hand stitches, 1 turn-up, 2 right-hand stitches * - repeat this sequence on each of the 4 needles in a round.

6th round: right-hand stitches

Round 7: * 4 right stitch, 1 turn, 1 right stitch, 2 stitches covered, 1 right stitch, 1 turn, 3 right stitches * - repeat this sequence on each of the 4 needles in a round.

Round 8: right stitches

9th round: * 5 right stitches, 1 turn-up, 2 stitches covered, 1 turn- over, 4 right-hand stitches * - repeat this sequence on each of the 4 needles of a round.

10th round: right-hand stitches
Knitting this pattern either once (10 rounds) or, if you want the cuffs to be longer, twice (20 rounds).

Pattern III

Round 1: * 1 turn, knit 2 stitches to the right *, this sequence * * will be repeated in this round.

Round 2: right stitches
Repeat round 1 and round 2 a total of 4 times (8 rounds) or, if the gauntlets are to be slightly longer, 8 times (16 rounds).

Pattern IV

Round 1 and all the following rounds: Knit 1 stitch left, 1 stitch right alternating.

Make sure you place the right stitches of the pattern on the right stitches of the previously knitted pattern. Knitting this pattern as a completion for the Pulswärmer a total of 8 rounds or, if the gauntlets are to be slightly longer, even 16 rounds.

The final round is the Abkett-round. Be sure to loosely bind the stitches so that the cuff does not stretch over the back of the hand or even cut you.

To tie off: First knit 2 stitches on the right side. Now there are 2 stitches on the right working needle. Pull the right of these two stitches over the left stitch. Then knit a stitch on the right side again. There are again 2 stitches on the right working needle, of which the right is pulled over the left stitch.
