No Easter without pretty Dekohasen! We provide you with three simple instructions for the design of cute paper Easter bunnies, which you can do alone or together with your children!

The Easter Bunny is not only THE symbol of Easter, but also one of the most dazzling figures of the entire spring. In this respect, it makes a lot of sense to tinker a few days or weeks before hiding the Easter Eggs golden easter bunnies. To get appealing creations, all you need is paper, some extra materials, and our richly illustrated instructions to guide you and your children to their goal, step by step!

Easter bunnies from toilet paper roll

Even with very young children, sweet Easter bunnies can be made out of paper. You and your offspring do not need much in terms of materials - apart from the fact that most of the utensils are probably already available at home and all the tinkering takes no more than half an hour.

You need this:

• Paper roll (toilet paper remnant)
• Cardboard or solid paper
• pencil
• watercolor
• black felt-tip pen
• scissors
• Glue

How to proceed:

Step 1: Print our craft template on paper and cut out the individual parts.

Step 2: Transfer the various parts of the original to conventional cardboard or solid paper in pencil. Cut out these elements as well.

Step 3: Paint the cardboard roll, which acts as a rabbit's body, the ears, as well as the arm and leg parts in color as desired. Let everything dry well.

Step 4: Stick your ears in the top of the cardboard tube.

Step 5: Paint paws on the hare's arms by drawing two delicate strokes with a black felt-tip pen on each side of the original part.

Step 6: Roll the leg part (the long strip) in the middle a little bit by "rubbing" it on one of your fingers. So it can then easily stick to the role. Repeat this also with arm part (the short strip).

Step 7: Now glue the eyes out of our template.

Step 8: Then add nose, mouth and whiskers with a black pencil

Step 9: Two small rectangles of white cardboard become the teeth that are glued directly under the mouth.

Easter bunnies tinker with little children

Simple Dekohasen cardboard rolls are nice and good. But you can also make other bunnies with little children - for example in the form of a pretty door decoration, which is a real eye-catcher in the Easter season. Thanks to our template, the whole thing is done in about 30 minutes.

You need this:

• Craft paper in the desired colors
• scissors
• pencil
• felt-tip pen
• Punch or punch
• Glue

Tip: We offer you the template in two different variants: once "pure", so that you can determine the colors yourself, and once pre-dyed. The already prepared version is suitable for those who want to tinker faster.

How to proceed:

Tip: The colorful crafting template is best printed directly on thicker paper.

Step 3: If necessary, transfer the outline of the Easter bunny to a piece of cardboard, which will then be cut out.

Step 4: Glue the rabbit to the cardboard.

Step 5: Cut a sign out of a piece of cardboard. Use a felt-tip pen to write a saying for the feast on the sign, say "Happy Easter". Stick this sign from behind on the Hasenkopf.

Step 6: Provide the underside of the shield with three holes. You can either use a punch or a punch.

Step 7: Then attach the eggs to laces and the other ends of the same cords in the holes of the shield. If you use polystyrene eggs, you can decoratively wrap them with wool and hang them directly at the end of the thread.

Now, the Easter Bunny door sign can be hung with greetings already in place.

Origami Easter Bunny

If you would like to make Easter bunnies with older or older children, the degree of difficulty may of course be a bit higher. That's why we decided to introduce you to the creation of a great 3D rabbit according to the origami concept.

You need this:

• Sheet of origami paper (square format)
• black felt-tip pen
• Wiggle eyes (optional)
• wadding
• craft glue
• possibly scissors

Tip: If you want to make a colorful Easter Bunny, use instead of white just colorful paper of your choice. Even patterned bunnies have charm.

How to proceed:

Step 1: Take a piece of paper (eg 15 x 15 cm) or cut one accordingly.

Step 2: Fold the sheet once across the middle and then fold it up again. Now fold the paper lengthwise through the middle and then open it again.

Tip: If you see a cross on the sheet at this moment, you have done everything right so far.

Step 3: Turn the paper over and fold the two diagonals.

Step 4: Hold the paper in your hands so that you grasp the tips of the two small outer triangles with your thumb and forefinger. Press the sheet inward until it closes.

Tip: When you do this step, it looks like a beak will open and close. Seen from above, it also looks like a thin cross.

5th step: Fold the cross together so that a triangle is formed again. Simply orient yourself by our pictures - they are guaranteed to quickly eliminate any ambiguity.

Step 6: Place the new triangle with the tip pointing up.

Tip: The now folded triangle consists of four layers. There are always two layers directly (he) connected (folded together). This insight will help you in the next step.

Step 7: Now deal with the upper double layer of the triangle. Fold first the right, then the left tip upwards.

Tip: In the sequence, see a square composed of two triangular halves ">

Step 9: Undo step 12 by unfolding both halves.

Step 10: Then fold the two points, left and right, towards the middle.

Step 11: Then fold the top of the trapeze down to create two triangles that are flush with the outsides of the large triangle.

Step 12: Then fold the two new triangles in the middle and fold the outside inwards.

Step 13: Swing up the small triangles from step 12 to place them in the pockets of the triangles (in this position) above.

Tip: In the course of this step, the small triangles in the pockets disappear, creating a clean edge.

Step 14: Apply the paper to the back and fold the right half of the triangle inward. If the outer edge lies on the center line of the triangle, everything is alright. The same thing is repeated with the left triangle half.

Step 15: Then bend the bottom of the newly formed construct upwards. Two further triangles emerge outwards, each of which forms a straight line at the top.

Step 16: Then fold the lower tips of the two new upside down triangles up to the centerline.

Step 17: Pick up your paper construct and blow hard from above.

Tip: Now you have inflated your paper Easter rabbits, he should be reasonably in shape. If necessary, fumble with your fingers a little.

Step 18: You either paint a hare's face - consisting of eyes, nose and whiskers. To do this, use the black felt-tip pen. Or you can also use shaky eyes. Puschelschwanz, nose and paws are also glued - these are small pipe cleaner balls.

Give your Easter bunny a nice place where it is clearly visible. What sounds at first glance after an immensely time-consuming action, is accomplished after about 15 minutes with a little practice - especially since our pictures make the task a lot easier and therefore also offer kids the opportunity to make such a pretty 3D rabbit. However, adult support is recommended.
