Häkelanleitung

1. Hedgehog body

Beginning of the hedgehog (brown wool)

Round 1

Step 1: Threading ring forms the beginning of the crochet work by placing the thread around the center and ring fingers and then wrapping both fingers once with the wool thread.

Tip: Let a small piece of the thread end survive, at this later pull your thread ring together.

Step 2: Then with the crochet hook under all wool threads piercing and get the thread with the crochet hook, then again the thread with the crochet hook and crochet a crochet, then crochet four more strong stitches, so that then 5 fixed stitches on the Mesh ring are located.

1 of 2

Step 3: Now take the wool thread on the needle and then pierce through the thread ring and pick up the thread again. Now pull this thread through the first two stitch loops. Repeat this, so again take the thread on the crochet hook and pierce through the thread ring and get the wool thread again and pull it back through the first two stitch loops. Now there are three stitches on your crochet hook. Repeat this process until you have six stitch links on your crochet hook.

1 of 3

Step 4: Now take the thread back onto your needle and pull it through all six existing stitches on your crochet hook.

Five crocheted chopsticks make a "hedgehog spiked ball".

round 2

Step 5: Now pull the end of the thread on the thread ring and pull it together.

Step 6: Now prick into the first stich from the beginning of the thread ring from the beginning and crochet a tight stitch.

1 of 2

Step 7: Repeat the same stitch and crochet one more crochet. Continue the same until the end of the round. So always crochet two solid loops in a tight loop.

Note: Crochet two sts in each stitch of this second round. At the end of this round count twelve stitches.

Round 3

Step 8: Crochet a tight stitch in the first stitch of the round.

Step 9: Take thread on needle and crochet the five sticks in next stitch. Repeat steps 3 and 4 for this step. Now you have crocheted the second hedgehog ball.

Step 10: Crochet a tight stitch in the next stitch.

Step 11: Repeat step 9 alternately on this round, then step 10.

Tip: Press the hedgehog balls from the inside out as you crochet the tight stitch between the spikes.

Step 12: Finish this round again with a tight stitch.

Note: Six new Hedgehog Balls have now been created in this round. Also, use the paper clip or hairpin to mark each end of a turn.

Round 4

Step 13: On the round, crochet two sets of stitches in each stitch. At the end, you now have 24 stitches. At the end of this round again with a chain stitch.

Round 5

Step 14: Now repeat step 8 to step 12. Close the round again with a warp stitch.

Round 6

Step 15: Crochet the whole round of tight stitches. So crochet a tight loop in each stitch. The number of stitches remains the same as in round 5 and is also 24 stitches at the end of this round.

Round 7

Step 16: Repeat steps 8 through 12 for this round.

Round 8

Step 17: This step is the same as step 15. Repeat this step here.

Round 9

Step 18: Now repeat step 8 to step 12.

Round 10

Step 19: At the beginning of this round, crochet two pieces of air and then half the whole rest of the round. Then close the round with a chain stitch.

1 of 3

Round 11

Step 20: Crochet at the beginning of this round two air stitches and then 24 half sticks, this time but with the crochet hook stab vertically behind the crochet and between the previous stitches and crochet then only half the stick. Close the round again with a chain stitch.

1 of 3

Note: You can also use a paper clip or a hairpin as the starting marker in your second crocheted air mesh.

2. Hedgehog face

Continue with the face of the hedgehog (light beige wool)

Round 12

Step 21: Now tie the new wool color to your crochet work and crochet a round of tight stitches into the inner loop. Begin the round with a sturdy loop after attaching the new thread and then finish the round with a slit stitch in this first sturdy stitch. The number of stitches after the round is again 24 stitches.

Round 13

Step 22: On this round, reduce the number of stitches by crocheting two stitches and crocheting a single crochet stitch. Start with an air mesh and then crochet two stitches together. To do this, prick the needle in front of your crochet work, from bottom to top and only into the front stitch piece, then take the thread and crochet a tight stitch.

Then crochet six stitches and then crochet two stitches together to form a tight stitch. Repeat this until the end of the round. Close the round in the air mesh with a chain stitch. There are still 20 stitches on the crochet.

1 of 2

Round 14

Step 23: Repeat step 22. Start with an airlock and then crochet the first two stitches together again, then crochet four stitches and then crochet two stitches together again. Repeat this until the end of the round. Close the round again with a chain stitch in your previously crocheted at the beginning of the round air mesh. There are now 16 stitches on your needlework.

Step 24: Now pour some of the stuffing into the hedgehog body.

Round 15

Step 25: Crochet a round of tight stitches without any stitches in between. Start again with an air mesh.

Round 16

Step 26: Repeat step 22 again. At the beginning crochet an airlock again, then crochet two stitches together and then work two sturdy stitches. Repeat this until the end of the round. Close the round as before. 12 stitches are on your crochet.

Tip: If necessary, fill some of the filling material into the hedgehog body. Be sure to use the end of your crochet hook to better distribute the filler into the hedgehog's body.

Round 17

Step 27: Crochet a round of tight stitches without stitches in between. Start again with an air mesh.

Round 18

Step 28: Repeat step 22. Crochet two stitches together and then two stitches in between as tight stitches. Now there are 9 stitches left.

Round 19

Step 29: Crochet another round without any stitches.

Round 20

Step 30: Repeat step 28. Start again with an airlock and then crochet two stitches together again and put a tight loop on them. Repeat until the end of the round and close again with a chain stitch. There are now 6 stitches remaining on your lap.

Step 31: Before cutting the thread, let it about 25 cm long. Now pull on the thread loop so that it dissolves.

Step 32: Then thread your darning needle to the end of the thread. Then insert the darning needle into each of the front mesh pieces of your six remaining stitches and pull the thread through. At the same time end at the beginning of the stitch. Then pull the thread taut and thus close the nose tip of the hedgehog snout.

Step 33: Now stiffen the thread horizontally through the entire hedgehog body starting from the tip of the nosed tip of the hedgehog. Cut off the remaining thread with scissors.

Tip: If you are no longer able to get through the filling material with the darning needle, cover the thread more laterally and not so far in the middle of the hedgehog body. If you pull the thread lightly and then continue to cover it, you can also model the hedgehog a little bit.

3. Igelase

Step 34: Now thread some of the black wool on your darning needle and pull the black thread through the hedgehog nose tip several times until you feel like the icy nose. Now again stiffen the rest of the thread inside the hedgehog body.

4. Hedgehog eyes

Step 35: Pick up some black wool and your darning needle again and give your hedgehog a few more eyes. Which form you give them is entirely up to you. Now your Amigurumi hedgehog is ready!

By the way, if you choose the needle size smaller and use thinner wool yarn, then the same instructions will result in a smaller hedgehog. So you crochet in no time a whole hedgehog family.

Many manual workers also use wool remnants or small leftovers as filling. If you have these at hand, use them to fill the hedgehog. Instead of cotton, you can of course also choose between viscose or polyester. Use a filler as you wish.
