Crochet Pattern: Little Amigurumi Heart

The Amigurumi crocheted heart can be stuffed with any filler material and is therefore particularly well suited for a three-dimensional use.

General information

The heart is crocheted in tight stitches throughout. The spiral round technique is used. The rounds are without transition, it is therefore advisable to prepare a stitch marker or a piece of thread as a marker.

The heart is crocheted from top to bottom. You start with the two "heart caps", put them together and crochet the heart body down to the top.

copings

Round 1: At the beginning 6 crochet stitches are crocheted into a thread ring. Complete this round with a chain stitch and continue crocheting in spiral rounds. Here is the fitting guide for the thread ring: //www.zhonyingli.com/fadenring-haekeln/

Round 2: For safety, hook in the marking thread and crochet 2 sts in each stitch in this round (= 12 stitches)

Round 3: Reposition the marker thread and crochet a single crochet in the 12 stitches.

Put the coping over your finger so that the more beautiful side points outwards, pull the last loop long and cut off the working thread after about 10 -15 cm.

The second cap will be worked from round 1 - 3 as well. However, the work thread is not cut off, the following steps are based on this last stitch of the second coping. So that the initial thread does not interfere with the next crochet steps, it is best sewn and cut off at the same time in both copings in the inside.

heart body

First, the two copings must be connected. In the right cap (second cap) is still the crochet hook. Take the left coping in your hand so that the working thread of the right coping can be crocheted directly onto the left coping. The first puncture site is the mesh head, which is to the left of the elongated loop.

Crochet a sturdy stitch and, starting from this stitch, crochet the left coping (11 stitches) and, using the 12th stitch, use the elongated loop of the coping.

Then skip over the second coping and crochet 12 stitches around this coping. The two caps are now connected and look like a tiny miniature bra.

The hole in the middle is sewn with the remaining work thread of the first coping with two stitches. Now sew this thread and cut it off.

Turn the work over again, mark the beginning of the round and crochet one round (= 24 stitches).

Followed by Abnahmerunden, where each left and right stitches removed (2 stitches stitch together) are. If you are unsure about mesh counting, you can continue to mark each round start with the marking thread:

Take lesson 1: cut off the 6th + 7th and the 18th + 19th stitch together (= 22 stitches)
Take lesson 2: cut off the 5th + 6th and the 17th + 18th stitch together (= 20 stitches)
Take lesson 3: cut off the 5th + 6th and the 15th + 16th stitch together (= 18 stitches)
Take off round 4: cut off the 4th + 5th and the 14th + 15th stitch together (= 16 stitches)
Take lesson 5: cut off the 3rd + 4th, 5th + 6th and the 11th + 12th and 13th + 14th stitch together (= 12 stitches)

Before the top is completely closed, the crochet heart should be filled.

Take lesson 6: cut off the 3rd + 4th and the 9th + 10th stitch together (= 10 stitches)
Take lesson 7: cut off the 2nd + 3rd and the 6th + 7th stitch together (= 8 stitches)
Take lesson 8: Cut off the 1st + 2nd, 3rd + 4th, 5th + 6th, 7th + 8th stitch together

Cut the work thread for about 10 cm, pull through the last loop and pull the remaining 4 stitches together with the work thread. Cover the working thread in the heart.

Crochet Pattern: Large Amigurumi Heart

For a larger Amigurumi heart, which you can almost call a pillow, you only have to crochet several rounds.

copings

Crochet 1: 6 sts in a string. Complete this round with a chain stitch and continue crocheting in spiral rounds.

Round 2: For safety, hook in the marking thread and crochet 2 sts in each stitch in this round (= 12 stitches)

Round 3: Mark the beginning of the round and double every 2nd stitch (= 18 stitches)

Round 4: Mark the beginning of the round again and crochet a single stitch in the 18 stitches

Round 5: Mark the start of the round and double every 3rd stitch (= 24 stitches)

Tip for crocheting even bigger hearts

If you want to create an even larger crocheted heart, crochet more rounds as follows:

* Crochet two rounds of 6 stitches each, crochet one round without increments. * * * Continue this round sequence until the desired size of the coping is reached.

Put the coping over your finger so that the more beautiful side points outwards, pull the last loop long and cut off the working thread after about 10 -15 cm.

Work the second cap as well, but leave the working thread (see instructions above).

heart body

Crochet the two caps together as described in the instructions above, in total the first round measures 48 stitches or the number of the two coping stitches.

Crochet the loops as follows:

* Combine 4 x 2 stitches in a row at the same time (each on the left and twice on the right outer edge) and in the next row on 2 x 2 stitches together (once on the left and once on the right edge). *
* * Continue this round sequence as long as possible and almost all stitches are used up. For the center of the heart, pull the remaining stitches together or sew them together.

Crochet pattern: flat crocheted heart

The work starts with four air meshes. Crochet two double sticks into the first air mesh: take two loops on the needle, cut into the first air stitch (where the initial thread hangs), double-stick, crochet two double sticks into the same insertion point.

It follows (also in this first aerial mesh) three rods. Crochet one more air mesh and another double swab (still in the same puncture site). The first half of the heart is ready.

The second half of the heart is worked the same way (still in the same stitch already used for the first half): crochet 1 aerial stitch, crochet a double stick, crochet 3 sticks, crochet 3 double sticks. The end is made up of 3 air meshes, the fourth air mesh is stitched into the puncture site as a chain stitch. Then cut the thread and pull it through.

Sew on the two threads or pull them up through the center of the heart. Then they can be used immediately as a hanger or loop.
