Healthy long hair needs one thing above all else: the right care. This can look very different depending on the hair type. You can find out how to mix the right hair condition yourself with little effort in our simple recipe ideas. The best: most of the ingredients for your individual hair care are already in your household!

Hair treatments by natural means

Conventional hair treatments from the drugstore smell usually divine, are almost eternally durable and often already for little to have money. But they also have a lasting effect on the hair structure - so on the and not only in the head ">

Easy care with conditioner

For those who need fast-grooming hair - for example, before important events or special occasions - our first two "quickies" are just the thing. This variant is particularly suitable for finer hair that looks a bit flat with heavy care. If you want to restrain a fat, stubborn mane on the fly, look no further than recipe number 2.

Cost: oil and aloe vera gel each between 3 and 15 euros
Preparation time: about 5 minutes
Exposure time: at least 10 minutes

You will need that:

  • Favorite conditioner (a walnut-sized amount)
  • 1 - 2 teaspoons almond or jojoba oil (for very fine or rather short hair 1 tsp is enough)
  • half a glass of water
  • 1 teaspoon of aloe vera gel (to be found in the drugstore mostly for sun care products, alternatively: health food store, health food store or online)
  • bowl
  • towel

That is how it goes:

1. Mix the walnut-sized portion of your favorite hair conditioner with the oil. The conditioner works not so much as a care product, but as an emulsifier for a smooth consistency.

2. Now add the water. Attention: just enough that your quick cure will not get too fluid. After all, she should not drip off your head.

Tip: Almond oil and jojoba oil are among the light oils and are therefore perfect for hair types that are quickly flattened by too heavy care.

3. Finally add a TL of pure aloe vera gel as the ultimate moisturizer.

4. Stir well.

5. Apply your finished hair treatment to the dry hair afterwards.

6. For a more intense effect of heat wrap your hair with a towel!

7. Let it work for at least 10 minutes before you wash your hair well with shampoo and continue styling as usual.

Tip: Since your conditioner provides easy preservation, you can keep any remnants of your spa and use them within the next week.

Fast alternative of oil and honey

If you want to do something special for your hair, which is particularly in need of care and strong hair, take this recipe!

Costs: total between 5 and 10 euros (the prices of the oils can vary greatly depending on the quality and provider)
Preparation time: 5 minutes
Exposure time: between 10 and 30 minutes

You will need that:

  • 2 teaspoons olive oil
  • 1 tsp honey
  • 1 egg yolk
  • Bonus: 2 teaspoons castor oil
  • bowl
  • towel

That is how it goes:

1. First, heat the oil a little, either by briefly placing it in a pan or by placing it in the microwave for a few seconds.

Tip: Your olive oil should only get warm, but do not start to fry!

2. Now add the honey while stirring.

3. Beat your egg and separate the egg yolk from the rest. Add it to your mixture.

4. Finally, (optionally) two teaspoons of castor oil - if you have none in stock, the existing ingredients already make a wonderful hair cure.

5. Mix everything well in your bowl.

6. Now give the finished cure strand by strand into your hair.

7. If you have a particularly strong mane, wrap the hair with film individually - this is not quite as fast, but it is intense. Otherwise, just as in variant 1, put on a towel and leave at least 10, but better for up to 30 minutes.

Tip: This cure consists exclusively of fresh ingredients. Dispose of any remains. They would spoil until next time.

Sea salt treatment for greasy hair

Also, the following hair conditioner for those who tend to very greasy hair, goes very fast. However, it should not necessarily be used right before an important occasion - at least not if you try it for the first time. Maybe the hair will look a bit blunt. This can be reduced in the future with cold rinsing of the hair after washing and lies down anyway in the following days.

Cost: about 2 euros - if you already have sea salt in the kitchen, this cure is practically free.
Preparation time: 2 minutes
Exposure time: 15 minutes

You will need that:

  • 1 tablespoon of sea salt
  • 2 glasses of water (use mineral water if you have very hard tap water)
  • a bowl

That is how it goes:

1. Stir the sea salt in your water.

2. Pour the mixture slowly and carefully onto the scalp.

3. Make sure that not the majority lands in the sink, but by stepwise gentle application as much as possible on your head.

4. Leave the treatment for a maximum of 15 minutes - a significantly longer exposure time may cause the hair to dry out too much.

5. Rinse this simple treatment with clean water or wash and style your hair as usual.

Tip: It's best to use the anti-fat cure weekly, depending on how your hair reacts.

Extra shine with care cure

This - comparatively - somewhat more complex cure for dull, brittle hair ensures beautiful, healthy shine. Of course you will achieve optimal results with a regular application - all three washes, but no more than once a week is the ideal guideline.

Cost: about 5 euros - the oil for numerous applications.
Preparation time: about 10 minutes
Exposure time: at least 20 minutes to several hours

You will need that:

  • an avocado
  • half a lemon
  • 1 teaspoon vegetable oil (jojoba, almond, olive, coconut, etc.)
  • 1 tsp aloe vera gel or juice
  • a bowl
  • blender
  • towel
  • Cling film

Tip: For particularly strong hair, double the amount of ingredients.

That is how it goes:

1. Halve the avocado, remove the stone and spoon the pulp out of the shell.

2. Cut the avocado into small pieces.

3. In your bowl, grind them with the blender to a creamy mass.

4. Now squeeze the juice from your lemon (just by pressing hard by hand) and add it to the avocado cream.

5. Now add the other ingredients: oil and aloe vera gel.

6. Taste again briefly, until everything is well blended into each other.

7. Put the cream in wet hair.

8. The cure must not dry out during the exposure time. On the one hand, this would reduce the effect and, on the other hand, lead to difficulties in washing out. Therefore, wrap a towel moistened with warm water around your head or use cling film instead. This keeps moisture and heat in place.

9. Leave for at least 20 minutes. You can increase the time to several hours for even more intensive care. Just make sure that nothing dries.

Tip: You can eat the remnants of your treatment - at least with very pure aloe vera gel. However, you should not pick them up - as they would spoil without preservatives.

Conditioner for dandruff

Those who suffer from dandruff and dry scalp, or who instead struggle with a constantly greasy scalp, may have the same problem: conventional products, unfavorable washing cycles or stress confuse the pH. This spa recipe balances and balances the pH of the scalp again. Incidentally, the rich hair care provides comprehensive care for almost every hair type.

Costs: Pure food-grade oils are available in small bottlings in special online shops at very moderate prices. Together, the cure should be less than 10 euros - with reusable shares.
Preparation time: 5 minutes
Exposure time: between 10 minutes and one hour as required

You will need that:

  • 5 tablespoons of coconut milk
  • 2 -3 tsp of honey
  • 1 teaspoon almond oil
  • 1 teaspoon of coconut oil
  • 2 teaspoons olive oil
  • 2 teaspoons of aloe vera juice
  • bowl
  • towel
  • Cling film

That is how it goes:

1. If you like, gently heat the coconut milk in the pot or microwave. Heat is always welcome in hair treatments, as it directs the active ingredients better into the hair.

2. Now just mix the ingredients together.

3. Put everything in the right amount - it does not have to be too precise - in your bowl and stir well.

4. When applying, start directly at the top of the head and work the treatment in the scalp and the first few centimeters of your hair by the strand.

5. When the head is well covered, distribute the rest evenly in lengths and tips.

6. Here, too, intensify the effect if you provide heat when exposed. A towel turban does the best service. In summer you could also sit in the sun and in winter in front of the heating.

Tip: If you do not want to stain your towel, first wrap a layer of cling film around your head. This immediately adds more warmth and protects against stains.

7. Keep your treatment as long as your scalp is comfortable - at least 10 minutes.

8. For visible effects, repeat the process weekly. Mix in each case a new cure, because lack of preservation any remainders of this application would expire and are not reusable.

Anti-cure split ends

Kicking hair once again remains almost impossible - even if advertising promises to claim the opposite. Therefore, this treatment is preventative, so that split does not even arise, and the hair can grow healthy and cheerful to dream length. If you treat your mane to this comprehensive nutrient bomb on a weekly basis, then split ends should be a thing of the past.

Cost: between 10 and 15 euros - most components are sufficient for numerous applications
Preparation time: 5 minutes
Exposure time: 1 to 2 hours

You will need that:

  • 1 tsp apple cider vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon glycerine (orderable online)
  • 1 whole egg
  • 2 teaspoons castor oil
  • 2 teaspoons coconut oil
  • a bowl
  • towel
  • Cling film

That is how it goes:

1. First mix the apple cider vinegar with your glycerine.

2. Then beat up the egg and add both egg yolk and egg white.

3. Now add the two oils and stir well the mixture.

4. Work your anti-split cure well into dry or damp hair.

Tip: To spread the scalp, spread the mixture on the head. Who tends to greasy or flat hair, the application limits to the lengths and tips.
