Material and fundamentals
The instructions are for a wool that can be crocheted with needle size 7. You need about 100 grams for the crocheted cap. If you want to create a slightly longer crocheted cap, you have to prepare 150 grams of wool.
Size: crocheted with a crochet hook No. 7, the crocheted cap gets a circumference of approx. 53 - 54 cm and is thus suitable for a head circumference of 56 - 60 cm. The height of the cap is variable.
Useful crochet info:
The cap is crocheted from top to bottom and starts with a thread ring. Detailed instructions on threading can be found here on our website: //www.zhonyingli.com/fadenring-haekeln/
From round 2, each turn is started with 2 transitional airlocks and closed with a slit stitch. These transitional air meshes are not taken into account in the pattern and mesh calculation.
Crochet double bob
Double Reliefsticks front:
A Reliefstäbchen is basically crocheted like a normal chopsticks. Only at the puncture site is there a difference. While the normal prong is inserted into the mesh head of the preliminary round, one sticks with the crochet hook around a complete stitch at the Reliefstäbchen. Double Reliefsticks front: Take two loops on the needle as usual with double sticks and pierce around a complete stitch from the front. Pull the thread and pull the thread through the complete loop before it is crocheted as usual to a double stick. The exact injection points for the double relief sticks of this crocheted cap are given below in the instructions.
Double cross the front bumper:
There are 4 double relief sticks crocheted.
The puncture site for the first double relief stick: the stitch 3 of an underlying row. The puncture site for the second double relief stick: the stitch 4 of an underlying row. For the third double relief stick, stick into stitch 1 of an underlying row. For the fourth double relief stick, insert the crochet hook into the stitch 4 of an underlying row.
Through the puncture site first left and then in the row back right to cross the 4 rods. The exact puncture points for the crossed double relief sticks of this crochet cap are given below in the instructions.

Crochet round 3: 2 transitional air stitches. Double every other stitch = 24 half sticks in this round. Counting sample: one sees at the circle edge 24 mesh heads + the mesh head of the transition air meshes. End of round: Kettmasche.
Crochet round 4: 2 transitional meshes, then the sequence: * 1 half-stick, 2 double relief-sticks in front around half a stick of round 2, 1 half stick *. The first half-stick is the first half-stick of the preliminary round, the second half-stick is the third half-stick of the preliminary round The second half-stick of the preliminary round remains unbacked, because the two relief sticks are stabbed one round deeper.) Repeat the sequence a total of four times. At the end, crochet 2 x 8 half sticks and 8 half pairs of relief sticks = 32 stitches. End of round: Kettmasche.
Crochet round 5: 2 transitional mesh + 32 half-length swabs. End of round: Kettmasche.
Crochet round 6: 2 transitional meshes, then the sequence: * Crochet 1 half stick, 2 double relief sticks around the first relief stick of the penultimate round and 2 double relief sticks around the second stick of the penultimate round, 1 half stick *. (Insertion site for the first half-stick is the first half-stick of the preliminary round, puncture site for the second half-stick is the fourth half-stick of the preliminary round.) The second and third half-sticks of the preliminary round remain unbacked, because the relief sticks are stabbed one round deeper. )
Repeat the sequence a total of four times. At the end there are crocheted 2 x 8 half sticks and 8 half sticks-quartets = 48 stitches. End of round: Kettmasche.
Crochet round 7: 2 transitional mesh + 48 half sticks. End of round: Kettmasche.
Crochet round 8: 2 transitional meshes, then the sequence: * 1 half stick, 4 cross front double crosses, 1 half stick *.
The puncture site for the 4 double relief sticks are: third relief stick, then fourth relief stick of the penultimate round, now first and then second relief sticks of the penultimate round, sh. Photo series.
The puncture site for the first half-stick is the first half-stick of the preliminary round, puncture site for the second half-stick is the sixth half-stick of the preliminary round. The second, third, fourth and fifth half of the preliminary round remains unbacked, because the relief sticks are indeed stabbed a round lower. End of round: Kettmasche.
Crochet Round 9: 2 Transition Air Mesh + 48 Half Chopsticks. End of round: Kettmasche.

The puncture site for the 4 double relief sticks are: third relief stick, then fourth relief stick of the penultimate round (appearing from right to left as a front cross), now first and then second relief sticks of the penultimate round, (appearing from left to right as a back cross ).
Repeat rounds 9 and 10 a total of five to seven times (depending on the desired cap height). It follows a round with 48 fixed stitches. (Beginning of round: 1 transition air mesh, end of round: 1 chain stitch). There are still a few final rounds with fixed stitches.
