Fold flower box from paper - in 5 steps

Small gifts packed spectacularly - you succeed with a colorful or discreet, noble flower box. All materials are quick and cheap to get, if you do not even have them at home in the closet. In just 5 steps give your gift a special touch.

Material:

  • construction paper
  • pencil
  • ruler
  • scissors
  • Carpet knife
  • cut-resistant base (eg cork)

Step 1: Print out our craft template.

Step 2: Transfer the crafting template to the construction paper with a pencil and cut it out.

Step 3: Slightly score the fold lines with the carpet knife. Attention: really only scratch, do not cut!

Tip: To help you stay straight, use a ruler to help.

Step 4: Apply the construction paper and bend the scored edges.

5th step: Now comes the hardest part: closing the box. But practice also makes the master here. Fold up one of the four petals along the scored edge - it does not matter which one you start with. Then they do the same with the adjacent petal. Lay it gently over the first one. And so on with the other two sheets. In the end, the tips of the petals should be so intertwined that the box stays closed.

Tip: Press the tips a little harder - this will make your flower box more stable.
